On 12/15/08 At 04:26, Chatham fire department responded to a reported fire in the wall. When first units arrived on scene the structure was fully involved. The call initially was a 911 abanded call. when state police arrived they reported the fire. No injuries were reported. Mutual aid companies included; Austerlitz, Ghent, Kinderhook, Niverville, Red Rock, TriVillage and Valatie.

On 11/15/08 At 13:30 Chatham Fire responded to a one car AAPI on Pond hill Rd. Both patients were transported to the hospital; one with minor injuries, one with a more serious leg injury, no extrication was required. Columbia County Sheriff's Office investigated

On 9/30/08 At 9:32AM Chatham Fire under automatic M/A Ghent responded to a reported Smoke Condition At 15 Thomas St. Villiage of Chatham. Upon arrival Chatham Car 3 reported a box fan had caught fire. Home owners brought the fan outside, averting further disaster. Damage includes heavy smoke condition, burnt sofa and carpet, and one HOT cooler.

On 9/14/08 at 17:28 Chatham Fire was dispatched for an AAPD truck/pole on 295 near the old Columbia Boxboard plant. The truck was traveling eastbound when it went off the roadway and struck a pole. NYSEG responded to the scene. NYS Troopers Investigated. (More Pics)
